Hillsborough County, Fla. (Jan. 30, 2025) - Part of County Road 39 in Lithia is closed temporarily this week as part of a CSX crossing maintenance project.

County Road 39 will be closed between Alafia Estates Lane and Big Bear Road until Sunday, Feb. 2, as crews replace the rail, track materials, and paved approaches to the crossing.

Residents can use detour routes on East Keysville Road and Lithia Pinecrest Road to get around the closing. Detours around the work will be marked, and motorists are encouraged to be careful in the area.
