Hillsborough County, Fla. (Jan. 28, 2025) - A portion of Sydney Washer Road in Dover will close temporarily this week as part of a CSX railroad crossing maintenance project.

Sydney Washer Road is expected to close between Salem Church Road and Garland Branch Road from 6 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, until Friday, Jan 31.

The road is closing so that the railroad company can repair the tracks and the County can restore the roadway approaches. Detours will be posted, and drivers are asked to be careful when travelling in the area.
