Since its founding in 1973, the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) firefighters, paramedics, and support staff have forged a legacy that would be the envy of any league of superheroes.
In 2023, to help celebrate the HCFR's 50th anniversary, we started the 50 for 50 series, which showcases stories from each of the stations for the first 50 years. We take a deep dive into the history and heroisim of the men and women of the HCFR.
