Hurricane Milton Update No. 100
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Jan. 6, 2025) - Tomorrow is the last day to receive assistance at the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) and Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) in Hillsborough County, and it is also the last day for Floridians to apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance.
The last DRC in Hillsborough County is located at the City Center at Hanna Avenue, 2555 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. It will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, and will not reopen.
The final two MARCs in Hillsborough County will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The locations of the two MARCs are:

Both MARCs will open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, for the last time.
The DRC provides residents with assistance in applying for federal aid, updating applications, and learning about disaster loans and other available resources. Residents and applicable nonprofits are encouraged to visit for assistance with submitting an application, supporting documents, appealing a denial letter, appealing a case-closed letter, or appealing for additional funds. You do not have to be a Hillsborough County resident to visit the DRC or to receive assistance.
The MARCs are staffed with personnel from federal, state, and regional partners and nonprofit agencies to ensure residents have access to all available post-storm resources. They are open to individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits seeking assistance or needing help in completing applications after being impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
In addition, Tuesday, Jan. 7, is the last day that Floridians, including homeowners and renters in Hillsborough County, can apply for FEMA assistance. Residents can apply by visiting any DRC, including the one at City Center at Hanna Avenue, 2555 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. Floridians can also apply by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov or calling FEMA at (800) 621-3362. Access the FEMA app on your mobile device.

Homeowners and renters who have already applied for assistance and disagree with FEMA's decision can appeal within 60 days of the date of the decision letter.
