Hillsborough County, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2024) - New Tampa Performing Arts Center's (NTPAC) Holiday Celebration lineup is sure to spread holiday cheer starting Sunday, Dec. 1, through Saturday, Dec. 21. Mark your calendars and grab your tickets for the following events:

Klassika on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m.

What do you get when you combine classically trained singers with pop music? You get Klassika! Enjoy all your holiday favorites performed by this classical crossover group. The vocal ensemble has graced stages from Florida to South Africa. Chris Romeo, Jolanda Nel, Derek Roura, and Stephanie McCranie Kelly will be accompanied at the piano by Arnel Senson. A Holiday Big Band Extravaganza with Florida Jazz Express on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m.

Deck the halls with great live music to celebrate the holiday season. The Florida Jazz Express big band will perform modern and classic arrangements of your holiday favorites. The band is comprised of the busiest musicians in the state with resumes that include performing with some of the world's top entertainers. Wattaka Presents: Por los Caminos del Mundo (Across the Roads of the World) on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m.

Wattaka proudly presents Por los Caminos del Mundo (Across the Roads of the World), a captivating holiday production that celebrates the themes of migration, family, and tradition. This event brings to life the heartfelt stories of individuals and families who embark on journeys in search of a better life, blending the rich cultural heritage of Latin America with the universal experiences of leaving home and finding belonging. Tampa City Ballet (TCB) Presents: The Nutcracker on Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m. 

Each year, performances of The Nutcracker ring in the holiday season, a long-held tradition celebrated around the world. TCB brings together audiences of all ages and backgrounds to participate in this family event. Purchase tickets through Tampa City Ballet.

Puppy Pals LIVE on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7:30 p.m.

As seen on America's Got Talent, Puppy Pals LIVE is a family fun action-packed show where adopted and rescued dogs perform spectacular stunts and breathtaking feats. Watch as Puppy Pals LIVE leads the puppies and audience through challenging and comical tricks as the pooches show everyone who is really boss! ATLAS Modern Ballet & New Tampa Players Present: Spirit, A Christmas Carol Adaptation on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. 

This multi-genre performance that includes dance, song, spoken word, and film will excite audiences of all ages as ATLAS Modern Ballet and New Tampa Players reimagine the themes of the classic tale, A Christmas Carol. Purchase tickets through the New Tampa Players.

Five-Dollar Flicks

Catch a holiday movie on the big screen for $5 a ticket. On Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m., NTPAC will show Die Hard, the action classic that's sparked debate about its status as a Christmas movie.
