Hillsborough County, Fla. (May 28, 2024) - Agencies like the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are predicting a busy and dangerous Atlantic hurricane season, and Hillsborough County Emergency Management has released its annual Disaster Guide to help residents prepare.

This comprehensive resource outlines how to determine your disaster risk, make a plan to stay safe, stay informed with timely information, and get involved by helping your community prepare and recover. The guide also has a disaster preparedness checklist, information on evacuation zones and shelters, tips to ready your business and property, and much more.

The 2024 Disaster Guide also is available in print at Hillsborough County libraries.
