The picnic shelter at Ruskin Commongood Boat Ramp will be replaced beginning 9/3/2026, with work expected to last about one month. The shelter will be unavailable to use during this time.
This boat ramp and small park is located just south of U.S. 41, providing boaters with convenient access to the Ruskin Inlet, Little Manatee River, and lower Tampa Bay.

Ramp Etiquette & Navigation
- No Wake Zones: Boaters must adhere strictly to posted idle and slow-speed zones to protect the shoreline, docks, and nearby bridge structures.
- Staging Area Protocol: To keep traffic moving smoothly, operators should prepare their boat in the designated parking area before pulling onto the ramp.
- No Swimming: Swimming, wading, or diving is strictly prohibited.
- Boaters need to monitor the tides and be aware of conditions as they relate to the size and draft of their vessels for each area.
