The recent hurricanes caused significant damage and forced us to close many parks locations, including:
- Conservation, neighborhood, and specialty parks
- Nature preserves
- Sports complexes and rec centers
- Boat ramps
While most park locations have opened, due to damage and continued safety concerns, some remain closed.
Before visiting any park location, please use the "Find Park Status" button below to see if the location is on the closed/partially closed list.
This 16-acre nature preserve provides a short wooded detour for pedestrians on the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. No bikes are allowed in the preserve. A wooden footbridge crosses Rocky Creek on this quarter-mile hiking trail. The preserve contains a wooded area bisected by Rocky Creek at the northeast corner of Gunn Highway and Manhattan Avenue. Users may access the Upper Tampa Bay Trail from the parking area. There is a fee to park at this location.
