Hillsborough County's Public Utilities Administration is responsible for protecting the County's drinking water supplies. This requirement is met through the County's Land Use Ordinances.
Since 1992, the County has had rules and regulations in place to meet these requirements. The County has determined that it is time to update these regulations and is proposing an amendment to the Wellhead and Surface Water Resource Protections.
The virtual engagement will be held Sept. 17-30, 2025. There are also two Open Houses that residents can attend.
