Grab your favorite person and join a park ranger for a Valentines sunset hike on the "Hammock Run" Trail at Lettuce Lake Conservation Park. Take in the views of the park, watching for wildlife like owls, wading birds, and deer. Your hike leader will also discus the history, the habitats, and the flora and fauna of the park.
Things to know
- Cost: $5
- Register before the event
- Meet at the nature center
- Minimum age requirement: 8 years or older
- Participants under 18 should be accompanied by an adult
- Maximum participants: 20
- Hike length: 1.4 miles
- Weather-related cancellations possible (no rain checks)
- No alcohol will be permitted on park property

- Close-toed shoes (required)
- Water in refillable container (required)
- Binoculars
- Bug spray
- Camera
- Flashlight
- Long-sleeved shirt
- Snacks
