Lake Frances Nature Preserve, Meet in the parking lot

The Lake Frances Nature Preserve is home to 1673 acres of mesic pine flatwoods, wet prairie, and cypress swamps. We will be planting large oak trees near the parking lot.

Things to know
- This is a free event
- Meet at 11009 Tarpon Springs Road, Odessa, FL 33556
- Participants must be at least 10 years old
- Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by and adult
- Maximum number of participants is 40
What to bring:
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes (required)
- Water in refillable container (required)
- Work gloves (required)
- Bug spray
- Hat
- Long-sleeved shirt
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Small backpack with hydration system
- Snacks, if desired
Requirements: Minimum age 10 (minors must be accompanied by a chaperone and have a guardian's signature via this liability waiver)
