Join us for our restoration event at Stacy White Preserve!
We'll be continuing our restoration efforts by planting over 100 Slash Pine Trees. These trees come in 10-gallon pots and can be moved by one or two volunteers. This planting is part of our ongoing work to enhance the preserve's natural landscape and create essential wildlife corridors.
Things to know
- This is a free event
- The length of the trail is around 1 mile
- Participants must be at least 10 years old
- Maximum of 8 participants per group
What we'll do
- Plant approximately 65 trees (oak, holly, and pine).
What to expect
- Manual tree installation
- Working in teams to move and plant trees
- Hands-on experience in habitat restoration
- A one mile hike to and from the planting site.

- Water in refillable container
- Closed-toe shoes
- Bug spray
- Change of clothes
- Hat
- Long-sleeved shirt
- Small backpack with hydration system
- Snacks
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Work gloves
