Want to see what happens in the park after dark? Join a park ranger for a hike on the "Hammock Run" Trail at Lettuce Lake Conservation Park. Take in the views as the sun sets over the park, watching for wildlife like owls, wading birds, and deer. Your hike leader will also discus the history, the habitats, and the flora and fauna of the park.

Things to know

  • Cost: $5
  • Register before the event
  • Meet at the nature center
  • Minimum age requirement: 8 years or older
  • Participants under 18 should be accompanied by an adult
  • Maximum participants: 20
  • Hike length: 1.4 miles
  • Weather-related cancellations possible (no rain checks)

  • Water in refillable container (required)
  • Binoculars
  • Bug spray
  • Camera
  • Flashlight
  • Long-sleeved shirt
  • Snacks
