Join us for our annual restoration planting event at Lower Green Swamp Nature Preserve
Leave a leafy legacy! We'll spend the morning planting native pine trees and grasses in the open pine flatwoods along the orange trail.
Things to know
- This event is free, but you MUST register
- Participants shoud meet at the office, down the gravel road - follow the signs
- Minimimum age to participate: 10
- An adult must accompany any participants under 18
- Maximum participants: 20
- No alcohol allowed
- Plan to get dirty planting pines and restoring the preserve

Required to bring:
- Water in refillable container
- Closed-toe shoes
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Work gloves
Recommended to bring:
- Snacks
- Hat
- Long-sleeved shirt
- Change of clothes
- Personal tools
