Join a SOAR (Senior Outdoor Active Recreation) trip to the Little Manatee River State Park!

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the rare ecosystems found within the park, including sand pine and oak scrub and oxbow wetlands, which can be explored by hiking, canoeing, horseback riding or camping. Join us as we hike 2-3 miles on the Sandpine Trail - part of the 2025-2026 Hiking Spree. Lunch to follow.
Event cost is $5. Free transportation from and to the recreation center will be provided. Spots are limited.
Things to know

- Participants should meet at the recreation center entrance to take the transportation to and from the nature preserve
- Weather related cancellations possible
- Participants must be 50 and older
