Join a SOAR (Senior Outdoor Active Recreation) adventure to Upper Tampa Bay Park!
Upper Tampa Bay Conservation Park offers an abundance of wildlife and other ecological treasures for any devoted nature lover.
You may choose to hike the nature trails (Hiking Spree eligible), board walk and skip the boating. Gopher tortoises, zebra swallow tail butterflies and even bobcats have been sighted. The shoreline attracts many birds and wildlife including bald eagles, red shouldered hawks, ospreys, bottle nosed dolphins and manatees. Kayak rental is $25 whether one person or two. Lunch to follow.
Free for hiking and free transportation from and to the recreation center will be provided. Canoe/Kayak rentals are $25 and if driving separately it is a $2 entrance fee. Spots are limited.

- There is a $2 park entrance fee per car, if driving separately (pay day of event)
- $25 per kayak/canoe rental, $0 if hiking
- Weather related cancellations are possible (no rain checks)
- Participants must be 50 years and older
- Maximum of 14 participants
- Registration is required
