Join a SOAR (Senior Outdoor Active Recreation) trip to John B. Sargeant Park!
Discover this 0.6-mile loop trail near Thonotosassa, Florida. This trail is great for walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are January through June.
This is a short and scenic path along a boardwalk section in John B. Sargeant Wilderness Memorial Park. The area is popular among paddlers because of the canoe and kayak launch. There is another trailhead here for the Old Fort King Trail for those who wish to extend their route along the paved path.
The event is free and free transportation from and to the recreation center will be provided. Spots are limited.
