Join us for a fun day at Stephen J. Wortham Park!
Much of the park's undeveloped terrain is typical of Florida's hardwood hammocks. There are sand, slash, and longleaf pines; live, water, and scrub oaks; lots of saw palmetto and other understory plants; and animals such as gopher tortoises, box turtles, and foxes. Join us as we hike about 1.2 miles on the Hiking Spree highlighted trail "Bluestem Hiking Trail". Lunch to follow.
Free event and free transportation from and to the recreation center will be provided.
