Join a SOAR (Senior Outdoor Active Recreation) trip to Hillsborough River State Park
Come visit a breathtaking oasis of natural and historical significance. Stroll along the river rapids, enjoy camping, explore historic structures, share a picnic or view scenic landscapes. Hillsborough River State Park provides many opportunities for outdoor recreation.
From fishing in the Hillsborough River to hiking or biking on the trails or picnicking under pavilions built in the 1930s, there is something for everyone here.

Things to know
- Event and transportation from and to the recreation center are free. If driving separately, it will be $6 per car - pay with cash on the day of the event.
- Weather related cancellations possible
- Must be 50 and older
- Registration is required and spots are limited

- Some hiking is involved, so wear hiking appropriate clothing and shoes
