Register for the Hiking Spree and join Audubon Volunteer Lilian Saul on a walk through Northwest Equestrian Park while seeking out our favorite feathered friends.

You'll be searching for all kinds of birds on walk, so ramble for red-shoulders, wander for woodpeckers, and become enamored with Egrets as you check off one of your 8 Hiking Spree hikes on this journey.
Note: This event is meant for birders and nature enthusiasts of all skill levels to enjoy at a slower pace to observe nature, if you're looking to hike quickly this event is not for you.
Participants must be registered in advance to attend, and must also be registered for the Hiking Spree.

Things to know

  • There is a $5 registration fee, you must pre-register
  • There is a $2 park entrance fee
  • Weather related cancellations are possible, rain checks will be provided
  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by adult
  • The trail is around 4.5 miles
  • Participants must be at least 10 years old
  • Maximum of 10 participants
  • Registration is required
