Camp Bayou Nature Preserve & Outdoor Learning Center
In-Person

Explore Camp Bayou after dark at the 5th annual Fall Fright Fest!

This event gives families plenty to discover about Florida's nocturnal nature with hikes, s'mores, spooky tales, and activities.

Guided Hikes will take place throughout the evening:

Nocturnal Critter Hike

6:30pm

This little-kid friendly hike will talk about animals that call Camp Bayou home, the habitats they live in, and what animals do after dark.

Haunted Hike

7:00 pm
7:30 pm
8:00 pm

The Haunted Hikes will talk about spooky Florida stories, tales of mis-adventure at Camp Bayou, and nature that may go bump in the night!

These hikes may be a little bit scarier, so hiker beware!

Hikes require a $5 donation to Camp Bayou to save your spot and help the nonprofit acquire supplies for the event.

Activity tables with information, games, and crafts will be open until sunset and will be hosted by Camp Bayou volunteers, Conservation and Environmental Lands Management, Florida State Parks, Hillsborough County EPC, and more.
