Discover the fun of birding with the Tampa Audubon Society!
November 15, 2025, 1:00 PM UTC - 4:00 PM UTC
Cockroach Bay Nature Preserve, Meet at the trailhead parking area and kiosk
In-Person
Horsehoe Crab Hustle trail is 1.7 miles
Join Dr Mary Keith from the Audubon Society on a hike to discover the birds and other animals that call the preserve home. This hike will feature discussions about the preserve, plants, animals and more while checking off one of your Hiking Spree hikes!
Because this hike's purpose is to observe birds, the hike will be slower paced and will include many stops to observe the birds. If you wish to complete your hike quickly, this may not be the hike for you.
Dogs (except service dogs) are not welcome on birding hikes.
