Hillsborough County Faces Further Flood Warnings in the Wake of Hurricane Milton:Read More

The Best Shredder contest series is Hillsborough County's annual four-part contest series that started in 2015

Hosted at each staffed Hillsborough County skate park, skaters can compete in one of several divisions based on their demographic or skill level.

The competition

Skaters compete in a jam-style format for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division. Winners are awarded prizes based on their podium placement.

Divisions include, 9 & Under, 10 - 12, 13 - 15, Girls, 16 & Up, and Sponsored.

In addition to these prizes at each stop of the series, skaters who make podium placement are awarded series tally points. After the year's final contest, the skater with the most overall series tally points per division is awarded as that year's Best Shredder.

Whether you want to participate or spectate, come out to the stops and you'll be sure to have a blast!
