Notification of Violations of Tampa Bay Water’s Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement
Purpose
To provide for notification to the Board of County Commissioners and Tampa Bay Water of violations of Tampa Bay Water’s Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement, dated May 1, 1998 (Interlocal Agreement).
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners approves and adopts the following provisions:
- County or Environmental Protection Commission staff shall notify the Board of any violations of Tampa Bay Water’s Interlocal Agreement of which County or EPC staff becomes aware. The Board shall be notified at a Board meeting within 30 days of discovery of the violation.
- Unless otherwise directed by the Board, following Board notification the Chairman will send a letter to Tampa Bay Water describing the violation and setting forth the County’s position regarding the violation.
- Nothing in this Policy shall be construed to modify the County’s or EPC’s rights under the Interlocal Agreement.
