Policy for Dead Animal Removal
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish responsibility by the Board of County Commissioners for dead animal removal.
Policy
To facilitate small dead animal removal from county property, roads, or rights-of-way. Animal Control is the agency designated by the Board of County Commissioners to carry out this responsibility.
Responsibilities
It shall be the responsibility of Animal Control to provide for the removal of small dead animals from county property, roads, and rights-of way and to publish implementing procedures approved by the County Administrator for carrying out these responsibilities.
