Waiver of Fees for Issuance of Building Permits in Hardship Cases Caused by Natural Disaster
Purpose
To waive fees for issuance of building permits to homeowners under hardship conditions caused by natural disasters.
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners approves and authorizes waiver of fees for issuance of building permits in cases of hardship conditions caused by the occurrence of natural disasters. Each application will be received on an individual case basis to verify and validate the hardship conditions.
Responsibilities
The Building Department will waive fees for the issuance of building permits in hardship cases caused by natural disaster after review and validation of the hardship condition in accordance with Board of County Commissioners’ policy.
