Installation of Traffic Control Signs
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to achieve uniformity in the installation of traffic control sings on private roads and to provide for reimbursement of costs to the County.
Policy
It is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners to authorize the County Administrator to install traffic control signs on private roads and to establish fees for reimbursement of costs to the County.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the County Administrator to provide for the installation of traffic control signs on private roads and to annually review fees so that any adjustments can be made to costs reimbursable to the County in accordance with the policy of the Board of County Commissioners.
Note: The fee of $52.00 per installation was approved by the Board effective October 22, 1980.
