Hillsborough County Road Maintenance and Construction Policies
Purpose
To provide Board of County Commissioners guidance for the maintenance and construction of the County road system.
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners approves and adopts the Hillsborough County Road Maintenance and Construction policies. The policies are set forth in the document maintained in the Public Works Division subject to amendments and revisions as presented and approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
Responsibilities
The Public Works Division is responsible to implement and carry out the Road Maintenance and Construction Policies as approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. The Public Works Division, under the direction of the County Administrator, is charged to maintain the currency of the Hillsborough County Road Maintenance and Construction policies and to present recommendations for amendments, modifications, and revisions for consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
