Performance Pay
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is for the County to maintain a pay system for employees under the County Administrator that ties pay increases to performance as an incentive for employee performance.
Policy
It is the policy of the BOCC that the budget include an annual pay adjustment for employees, with each employee’s actual pay adjustment based on an assessment of job performance.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Management and Budget Department and the Human Resources Department, under the direction of the County Administrator, to implement this policy.
