Approval Authority for Travel by Circuit and County Judges
Purpose
The establish approval authority for travel payment of Circuit and County Judges when using county funds.
Policy
It is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners to authorize the Chief Judge, 13th Judicial Circuit, to approve travel of Circuit and County Judges when payment is to be made from County funds. Payment for travel by the Chief Judge shall be approved by the Board when payment is from County funds.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Chief Judge to approve travel of Circuit and County Judges when payment is to be made from County funds in accordance with approved policy of the Board of County Commissioners. The Board shall approve travel payment of the Chief Judge.
