Citizens Advisory Committee Requests for Studies or Performance Audits to Be Provided by the County Internal Auditor and Events
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish the procedures for the Citizens Advisory Committee when requesting studies or performance audits to be provided by the County Internal Auditor.
Policy
The Citizens Advisory Committee through its Chairperson may provide recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for studies or performance audits to be provided by the County Internal Auditor.
Responsibilities
Requests from the Citizens Advisory Committee through its Chairperson will be provided in writing to the Hillsborough County Operations and Legislative Affairs Officer, who will be responsible for scheduling the request on the agenda for the Board’s next regular meeting date. A copy of the request will also be provided to the County Internal Auditor at the same time to provide an opportunity to research the request and make comment at that same meeting.
