Bomb Threat Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish procedures and assign responsibility in effectively responding to bomb and incendiary device threats to County operated facilities.
Policy
All such threats received by employees in County facilities shall be treated seriously, assumed to be authentic and handled in the manner prescribed herein, The Board of County Commissioners approves and adopts Bomb Threat Procedures as presented.
Responsibilities
The Division of Public Safety under the direction of the County Administrator shall implement the provision of this procedure, monitor appropriate compliance and initiate employee awareness programs to insure appropriate personnel response to bomb threat situations.
