Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
Purpose
Recognizing that the Board of County Commissioners plays a substantial role in establishing the culture for the Hillsborough County Government workplace, the Board is reaffirming its commitment to ensuring a safe workplace for all County employees.
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners is committed to providing a workplace free of sexual harassment. Employees must be treated with respect and feel safe coming to work without fear of reprisal or retaliation. The Board has a zero tolerance policy towards any form of sexual harassment which means any violation of all sexual harassment prevention policies are subject to corrective action and the appropriate level of discipline.
