Incentives and Awards to Contract Employees
Purpose
To provide for Board of County Commissioners approval of any incentive or award that would result in a permanent increase in salary of contract employees.
Policy
Any incentive or award that would result in a permanent increase in salary to the County Administrator, the County Attorney, the Internal Performance Auditor or the Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency, who are all contract employees of the Board of County Commissioners, must receive prior approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
Responsibilities
It shall be the responsibility of the individual receiving the increase to schedule the request for approval at a Board of County Commissioners meeting.
