Policy Requiring Boards and Councils Created by the Board of County Commissioners To Follow BOCC Policies
Purpose
To require that all boards, councils, and committees created by the Board of County Commissioners follow duly adopted Board of County Commissioners policies unless such policies exclusively apply to the Board of County Commissioners.
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners hereby requires that boards, councils, and committees created by the Board, and whose members are appointed by the Board, to follow BOCC policies. This policy may be waived by a vote of the Board of County Commissioners in circumstances deemed appropriate by the BOCC.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of county staff assigned to each board, council, and committee to ensure compliance with BOCC policies.
