Flying the MIA-POW Flag at the County Center
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to honor our military forces, including the active duty forces located at MacDill Air Force Base and the large number of veterans living in Hillsborough County.
Policy
The Missing in Action-Prisoner of War (MIA-POW) flag will be flown at all times in the front and rear of the County Center and the front of the main Courthouse, below the American Flag.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Facilities Management Division, under the direction of the County Administrator, to implement this policy.
