Capital Outlay Expenditure - Board of County Commissioners
Purpose
To establish guidelines for capital outlay expenditures by the Board of County Commissioners.
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners approves and adopts the policy that all capital outlay expenditures by the Board or individual Commissioner not approved in the budget must be approved by the Board. Capital outlay equipment items subject to this policy are those which are valued at or exceed the dollar amount specified in Section 274.02 (1), Florida Statutes.
Responsibilities
The Board of County Commissioners is responsible for complying with the policy approved and adopted on capital outlay expenditures.
