Policy on Additional Salary to the Chairman of County Commissioners
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish the Board guidance which allows an additional stipend to be offered those members of the Board of County Commissioners who are selected to be the Chairman.
Policy
The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners will be provided the privilege of either accepting of rejecting a ten percent salary increase to help defray costs associated with the added duties and responsibilities acquired while serving as Chairman.
Responsibilities
The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners shall be permitted to accept or reject a ten percent salary increase upon assuming the office of Chairman.
