Use of Boardroom

It is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners that all official meetings of the County Commissioners be held in the Boardroom on the second floor of County Center. It situations occur that make the Boardroom unusable, then the meetings will be held in the Conference Room in the 26th floor of County Center.

In special circumstances, the Board may hold official meetings in other locations, provided proper notice is given.

The Primary use of the Boardroom will be for meetings of the Board of County Commissioners. When not being used for official Board functions, the Boardroom can be used for other, government-related functions.

Use of the Boardroom will be scheduled by the Aide to the Chairman of the Board, in compliance with this policy.

The Conference Center on the 26th floor of County Center will be permanently reserved as a backup and for overflow audiences for all BOCC meetings, public hearings, workshops, and other BOCC functions. Other meetings maybe scheduled concurrently with Board functions taking place in the Boardroom, but attendees of the meeting shall be advised that the Board may also need the Conference Center.
