Scheduling of Official Meetings, Taking into Consideration Religious Holiday
Purpose
To establish guidelines for the scheduling of official meeting whereas said meetings will not conflict with religious holidays.
Policy
The Board of County Commissioners annually adopts a schedule for its regular Board meetings, public hearings, and workshops; taking into consideration the official holiday schedule, approved by the Board. This policy will apply to all boards, councils, committees, and officials, appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
Responsibilities
It shall be the responsibility of all boards, councils, committees, and officials appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to schedule official meetings or hearings whereas not to conflict with the official holiday schedule, including religious holidays.
