The survey begins Nov. 2 and asks what adult sports leagues residents would most like to see
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Nov. 2, 2026) - Hillsborough County is asking residents what kind of sports they would like to participate in at local parks.
Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation begins an online public engagement today in which residents are invited to complete a survey asking what type of adult sports they'd like to play at their local parks, how often and when they currently play those sports, and if they'd be willing to pay a fee to play in a league.
The survey is aimed at adults and is designed to measure the demand for adult sports and identify potential barriers such as proximity to a park, cost, lack of available fields or facilities, or other factors. Feedback from the survey will help Parks & Recreation better understand the community's interest in adult sports leagues, recreational activities, and potential new offerings.
The County will conduct a virtual engagement using the Hillsborough Engagement Hub to collect feedback from the public on plans for the park. Comment is open from Monday, Nov. 2, to Friday, Nov. 20. Visit HCFL.gov/HCEngage to participate.
