Local entrepreneurs and business leaders gathered for coffee, networking, and an inside look at cancer research and patient care
Business leaders, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, and others gathered at Moffitt Cancer Center to network, exchange ideas, and get an inside look at one of the region's leading centers for innovation during the latest Homebrew Hillsborough event. The free quarterly networking series brought together professionals from across the Tampa Bay area for coffee, conversation, and a behind-the-scenes look at how collaboration is advancing cancer research and patient care.
Hosted by Moffitt Cancer Center, the event is part of Homebrew Hillsborough, a County-supported initiative that connects the region's growing technology business community.
Natasha Francis, manager of the Population Engagement and Research Laboratory (PEARL) at Moffitt Cancer Center says events like this are essential to advancing research and finding new ways to improve lives.
"It's important to Moffitt Cancer Center because the community is instrumental to our research," said Francis. "We are always looking for collaboration. Whether it's volunteer-based, new technology, or other partnerships, we are truly stronger together."
