Hillsborough County, Fla. (June 22, 2026) - Hillsborough County on Wednesday, June 24, will hold the first of what will be a series of free, quarterly community events designed to bring essential resources directly to the community.
Representatives from numerous County departments will be together in one location to offer residents a convenient opportunity to connect with a variety of services. Future events, called Community Connections, will be held quarterly, with locations rotating around the County.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Robert W. Saunders Library, 1505 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, FL 33605. The list of County departments represented includes:
- Affordable Housing Services
- Aging Services
- Children's Services
- Emergency Management
- Head Start
- Health Care Services
- Homeless & Community Services
- Social Services
- Sunshine Line
- Veteran Community Services
Each County department will have information about the services they offer and have staff available to answer residents' questions.
