Summer camps, gardening workshops, financial education, and environmental programs offer hands-on learning

Hillsborough County, Fla. (May 29, 2026) - Hillsborough County residents can grow their gardening knowledge, prepare for hurricane season, explore marine science, and strengthen financial wellness this June through Hillsborough County Extension Service's lineup of educational classes, workshops, and youth programs offered both in person and online.

From composting and edible landscaping to youth fishing camps and arborist career training, Extension experts continue to provide research-based programs designed to help residents save money, protect natural resources, and build practical life skills. Many programs are beginner-friendly and open to residents across the county.
