Children's Services reminds families help is available to combat burnout and much more
As students navigate the school year's final stretch, it's common for stress and burnout to set in. Between numerous testing requirements, juggling busy schedules, and the preparation for summer, this time of year highlights the importance of families checking in on their child's emotional well-being.
Hillsborough County Children's Services reminds parents and caregivers that free support is available through its Community Counseling program. Offered at no cost for youth ages 6 to 17, the program provides individual and family counseling to help address challenges such as anxiety, behavior concerns, school stress, family conflict, and more.
Designed to be flexible and accessible, Community Counseling connects families with licensed professionals and additional community resources when needed. Early support can make a meaningful difference, helping students build healthy coping skills and stay on track as they head into the summer.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to take advantage of this free service if their child may need extra support. To learn more or get started, visit the Community Counseling with Children's Services.
