Hillsborough County, Fla. (Jan. 22, 2026) - The Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART)'s mission is to take people to the places that enhance their lives. The authority currently has one vacant seat for a BOCC Representative, with a three‑year term. HART meets on the first Monday of each month at 9:30 AM.

Citizens appointed to this board must reside in the unincorporated area of Hillsborough County and be a registered voter. The citizen appointed will be required to file an annual financial disclosure.

Citizens interested in being considered for appointment must submit: a complete Application/Questionnaire and a Standards of Conduct Form. This can be submitted using the Online Application and Standards of Conduct Form.

All forms must be signed and dated, and all questions must be answered in entirety to be eligible. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
