The center raises the curtain on an exciting third season

The New Tampa Performing Arts Center promises an exciting 2025-26 season lineup, from beloved ballet classics and musical theatre favorites to intimate performances that spotlight Tampa Bay's top talent.

This season, NTPAC continues to be the performance home for the New Tampa Players, who will present three captivating productions: Oklahoma! (Oct. 17-26), The Spongebob Musical (Jan. 30-Feb. 1), and Annie (July 24-Aug. 2).

The season also features the return of Tampa Bay Symphony, Tampa Jazz Club, and the Tampa City Ballet (TCB). Among TCB's performances is La Séptima Society, a TCB original set in 1920s Ybor City that celebrates immigrant heritage, resilience, and Tampa's rich cultural identity. TCB returns later in the season with timeless classics like Cinderella and The Nutcracker.

In addition, NTPAC's signature concert series will present must-see shows. The New Tampa Unplugged  series, back by popular demand, curates acoustic, living-room-style concerts featuring some of Tampa Bay's most talented musicians. The series opens at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, with O Som Do Jazz, an international crew of jazz musicians who capture the spirit of 1960s-1970s Brazilian bossa nova and samba-jazz.

New this season is the Solo Spotlight Series, a four-show series of professional solo performances that showcase the storytelling power of a single voice. The series starts with The Light Bringer at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, and Thursday, Oct. 9. It's a one-woman storytelling show by Laila Lee that brings to light her experiences growing up Muslim in the American south.

NTPAC's season has something for everyone, from rock 'n' roll tribute concerts and intimate jazz sets to Broadway movie musical screenings, professional dance performances, and family-friendly shows like the Spheres Bubble Show, which wowed a sold-out crowd last season.

Affordable Art Commitment

This season, NTPAC remains committed to ensuring the joy, impact, and emotional power of the performing arts are accessible to all through its Affordable Art Commitment. Each event produced and presented by NTPAC will include a limited number of $10 tickets.

Additionally, all film screenings are free admission. This commitment lowers the cost barrier to high-quality arts events, making it easier for the community to embrace and experience the performing arts.
