Hillsborough County, Fla. (June 25, 2025) - Race Track Road just north of South Mobley Road to Sri Chinmoy Street will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, June 27, through 6 a.m. Monday, June 30.
This closure will be followed by a six- to eight-week closure of the southbound lane of Race Track Road from just north of South Mobley Road to Sri Chinmoy Street while underground work is conducted on the sewer force main pipe. While the southbound lane is closed, one lane of Race Track Road will remain open with temporary traffic signals in place to allow alternating travel northbound and southbound.
To avoid congestion and delays during this time, drivers can use South Mobley Road and Gunn Highway to get around the work area.
