Hillsborough County, Fla. (March 28, 2025) - Residents and motorists in Progress Village will see some new traffic patterns next week with a temporary closure of both eastbound lanes of Progress Boulevard from S. 82nd Street to S. 85th Street.
The eastbound road closure is necessary to perform preliminary underground utility work. The closure will begin Wednesday, April 2, 2025.The eastbound road closure is scheduled to take place through April 23. A detour has been set up to take drivers on S. 78th Street and U.S. 301 as alternate routes around the closure, and the detour route will be marked with road signage.
Navigation apps have been updated on the detour and will route residents around the closure.
