Friday event will focus on USF's Institute for Applied Engineering

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Feb. 26, 2025) - February's Homebrew Hillsborough takes a closer look at the University of South Florida's Institute of Applied Engineering (IAE). IAE will provide a tour of the Rapid Experimentation Lab (REL) and an overview of the organization.

This month's event is an opportunity for businesses, local innovators and entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in helping strengthen and grow the local economy to come together to network, share ideas, collaborate, ask for help and offer it.

The REL provides the necessary infrastructure, tools, and collaborative environment to enable the curious and inspired to design, build, and test technologies for today and tomorrow. Homebrew Hillsborough attendees will learn about how the REL is more than just a makerspace.

This event brings together the companies and community to better understand technology and innovation in Hillsborough County and to better support one another, increasing connections, mentoring, job creation, and investment, and facilitating collaboration and innovation.
